NCREP was invited to participate in the “Understanding Risk Europe” conference in Bucharest, an action promoted by the World Bank with the support of the government of Romania, in the session “Managing Earthquake Risk at National Scale: from strategic planning to on-the-ground actions.”

The presentation, titled “The mitigation(?) of seismic risk in Portugal: the point of view of practitioners”, sought to demonstrate the role of the actors in the building rehabilitation processes, and the ways in which the growth of investment in the area of rehabilitation has modified rules, regulations, legislation and pathways in these processes.
