NCREP prepared the structural rehabilitation project of the Arabian Room building of the Palácio da Bolsa, in which some structural damage was evident. After the inspection and structural diagnosis work, an intervention was recommended with the aim of respecting the extant structures and mitigating structural damage, in particular through structurally strengthening the timber cover and improving its connection to the stone masonry walls, improving the overall behaviour of the building, and consolidating the timber floors of the elevated gallery through specific structural reinforcements, improving their dynamic behaviour.
