Quinta da Aveleda
The search for a new space to use as a shop and tasting room led to the reconversion of the Adega Velha area of Quinta da Aveleda. The inspection and diagnostic work carried out in the existing building meant it was possible to keep the floor slab in reinforced concrete by carrying out load tests. The roof, in poor conservation and safety condition, was replaced by a wooden structure with structural configuration similar to the original.
This allowed the current storage conditions of the Adega Velha brandy to be maintained, transforming and adapting the building for wine tourism.
