NCREP, at the request of the National Civil Protection Authority (ANPC – Autoridade Nacional de Protecção Civil), carried out an assessment of the seismic behaviour of its headquarters located in Carnaxide, Lisbon. This type of assessment of built stock is of vital importance, since it allows us to know the structural behaviour of a building when it is subjected to seismic action and thus estimate the extent to which it needs to be strengthened.
