NCREP was hired to detect and identify the rebar elements of a reinforced concrete viaduct, with the objective of fixing a new wastewater conduit without damaging the existing structure.

The viaduct is located in the southern part of the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez. The viaduct is part of the municipal road M530-1, being an overpass of the Variant of the National Road EN101.

The location of the rebars was carried out through non-destructive tests using the Hilti Ferroscan® PS 300 equipment. Access to the fixing points was carried out via an articulated lifting platform and by direct access to the locations in the areas next to the abutments.
