Luís Ferreira holds a master’s in Civil Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP), having written his master’s thesis on the topic of the seismic vulnerability of archaeological structures.

He has been a structural engineer at NCREP since 2016, where he has participated in various projects involving the inspection, diagnostics, structural analysis and sizing of rehabilitation and strengthening solutions for old buildings, namely Armazéns Ramos Pinto (Vila Nova de Gaia), Quinta em Catapeixe (Marco de Canaveses), a building in Rua Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia (Porto), the Antiga Moagem of Sabóia (Odemira) and a set of houses on the stairs of Guindais (Porto), among others.
