Lorena Millares holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering of Lugo, University of Santiago de Compostela, with a specialisation in the analysis of different types of structures. Her project was in the field of Civil Construction.

She has been an engineer at NCREP since 2018, where she has participated in various projects involving the inspection, diagnostics, structural analysis and sizing of rehabilitation solutions for old buildings, namely the structural rehabilitation of the Igreja de São Francisco (Porto), the inspection of the façades of the Bank of Portugal headquarters (Porto), and the structural strengthening of the Capela de São João Baptista (Palmela).
