Filipe Coelho holds a master’s in Civil Engineering Structures from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP).

He has been a structural engineer at NCREP since 2014, having worked on numerous projects involving the inspection, diagnostics, structural analysis and sizing of rehabilitation and strengthening solutions for existing structures. 

Among the projects that stand out in his portfolio are a set of industrial chimneys in brick masonry, residential buildings, and built stock with heritage value, such as the Lamego Museum, port wine warehouses and churches. He has also developed the structural design of new structures involving different structural systems (reinforced concrete, metal, timber and masonry).
