Numerical modeling

Today, there are innumerous methods and computational tools, supported by different theories and strategies with different levels of complexity, calculation times and costs, which allow the numerical simulation of the structural behavior of constructions. The selection and planning of the numerical tools should be such that it maximizes the obtained information, avoiding dispersive, unnecessary, too complex and costly analyses.
The vast experience of NCREP on the simulation of existing constructions and the knowledge on the advantages and limitations of the available tools and methods allows selecting the strategy that best fits the objectives and specific demands of each work.
